Ways to Volunteer
The Friends of Wilbraham Seniors’ mission is to raise money to support the varied and dynamic programs of the Wilbraham Council on Aging. We are always looking for volunteers to support our mission. Opportunities to share your skills and time exist on a regular basis, ranging from membership, fundraising, computer skills, publicity, research, administrative support, phone calls, and accounting and financial support (experience with Quickbooks and Excel is a definite plus). “Find a Friend ~ Be a Friend ~ Support the Friends” ~ Volunteer!

Our Three Funds
1. Capital Fundraising Campaign
Funding to outfit the new Senior Center with various accessories such as tables, chairs, furniture, bookcases, kitchen items, television monitors, and equipment such as IT, exercise and audio-visual to name a few.
2. Senior Assistance
Funding to help seniors who, as a last resort and have been vetted by the social services coordinator, need one-time financial assistance with utility and heating bills, prescriptions, etc.
3. General Operations
Funding to cover the costs of Friends’ office supplies, printing and postage, including postage for our monthly Senior Newsletter.
