Throughout the year, the Friends sponsor various fundraising events that not only raise money for our Seniors, but enables you to have the opportunity to renew friendships with old friends and meet new ones.

July 23, 1:00 pm at Senior Center
Join us as we discuss current affairs and future events for Friends of Wilbraham Seniors. We welcome your comments and suggestions as we continue to support Wilbraham Seniors. Meeting is open to everyone but only registered members may vote on any motions that come up.
We’re always looking for volunteers to help with our events and fundraising. There are no dues and attendance is voluntary.

KRAZY JAKES RAFFLE WINNER
Joanne Wanat of Springfield (L) not only celebrated her birthday recently at Krazy Jake’s, but won the Friends of Wilbraham Seniors Center’s 50/50 raffle prize as presented by Friends director Ann Marie Gaudette (R). Funds raised at the Jake’s dine out will be used to support the Friends Senior Assistance Fund.
And the Lucky Winner of Our “Warm Wishes” Quilt Fundraiser Raffle
is Heather Bean of Hampden. Thanks to the Wilbraham Senior Center Quilting Group for donating beautiful quilt to the Friends, and to the many people who purchased raffle tickets to support the Friends. Valerie Morton, the Quilt’s designer, donated the fabric and quilted one of the 20 blocks. Other talented block Quilters were Liza Berezin, Ann Bezio, Mary Blanchette, Mindy Camyre, Barbara Farrell, Ellen Gatchell, Karen Gatchell, Janis Gilbert, Ann Guyotte, Karen Huntoon, Laurie Joaquim, Linda Kehoe, Lynne Miner, Cyndy Rymer, Carole Rys, Darlene Slater, Jackie Viens, Judy Zeoli, and machine quilter Cindy Nickerson!
